Applications are currently being accepted for Student Services Technician in the Student Services Office, located at the District Office. Hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 to 5:00 p.m. Selected candidate must be willing to adjust work days/hours based on the department's needs.

Please note that an employee may be transferred to any site at the option of the Chancellor.

Major factors to be evaluated for a Student Services Technician in the Admissions department may include: Perform complex technical duties analyzing records, transcripts, or similar documents for prerequisites with accuracy and completeness. Work in a team environment and have excellent communication skills. Multi-task, maintain accurate and complex files, as well as compute statistical data and prepare reports. Interpret rules, laws, regulations, policies, and procedures related to higher education. Use independent judgment; work independently with little to no direction. Ability to develop organizational systems to meet schedules and timelines.

Pay Information:
Range 23 ($3,665.57 $5,851.08) per month based on the current AFT Classified Unit Office Technical Salary Schedule

Initial salary placement is commensurate with related experience and promotional rules. The District offers a comprehensive fringe benefit package including employer paid: medical, dental, and vision plans; sick and vacation leave; and opportunities for professional development. Initial Salary Placement, Promoted or transferred employees will be placed as specified in the AFT-Guild, Local 1931 Classified Staff Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is FLSA Non-Exempt and may accrue overtime. A temporary probationary period will be applied to the employee entering this assignment.
