General Information:
Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Software Engineer. This position can be located at any WITC location.

Position Overview
Design, Develop, Customize, Implement, Troubleshoot, and Maintain varying types of Databases and Software Applications (PeopleSoft, Oracle, Salesforce, APEX, SQL, etc). As well as staying current with the upgrades and updates to the applications and programming languages. Develop Technical and Functional Documentation and train users on the system.

Analyze business processes; need to understand the college operations regarding Student Information, Financials, Contract Training, State Reporting. Analyze the User/College needs and develop systems to meet those needs.

Identify and Analyze the current and future business needs and advising on the allocation of resources in such a way that minimizes waste and maximizes efficient use and profitability.

Manage development and project initiatives. Enforce project deadlines and schedules, communicating effectively with staff, applying project standards, managing resources in accordance with project schedules, and delivering quality services to the college.

Physical Requirements
Exerting up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Sitting most of the time. Walking and standing required only occasionally.
Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems/Programming.
Preferred Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems with focus on Programming

Minimum Qualifications

Experience with PeopleSoft, PeopleTools, Salesforce, APEX, SQL
