Position Overview:
Applications are currently being accepted from learning-focused, creative
and dynamic candidates for a part-time Injection Molding Setup Apprenticeship Adjunct Instructor at Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College, New Richmond Campus. The Injection Molding Apprenticeship program provides instruction in injection molding, fundamentals of math and electricity, automation, mold design, hydraulics and pneumatics, plastic processing, and troubleshooting.

Hours will vary dependent upon availability of candidates.

Teaching schedule will be eight hours of class (one day) every two weeks for a maximum of 144 hours per school year.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelors degree in related area or equivalency.
2. Minimum of two years (4,000 hours) occupational experience working in injection molding manufacturing setting.
3. Proficiency in use of computers and technology required.
4. Teaching experience preferred but not required.
*Equivalency to a bachelors degree is 7 years occupational experience in injection molding and/or combination of training and occupational experience totaling 7 years

  • Partners with the Divisional Dean/Project Manager of Continuing Education in fulfilling the mission, vision, and values of the College

  • Promotes relationships with area business and industry
