Job Summary/Basic Function:
Under the direction of the Vice President of Corporate and Workforce Training (CWT), this position will provide leadership for the Advanced Manufacturing Training & Education Center (AMTEC); EvCC North County credit programs; Apprenticeships, Manufacturing Technology, Machining, Composites, Mechatronics, Vocational Certification and Welding This position will promote an innovative, equity-focused and cross-institutional work environment to further Equity and Social Justice.

Vision, Leadership, and Supervision
- Provides administrative and management oversight of division operations including AMTEC, AMTS, and Weston High School, ensuring proactive safety and security policies and practices are in place and followed by students, staff, and visitors.
- Manages the development, maintenance, and evaluation of department functions to support the achievement of college educational goals within budgeted funds and personnel.
- Utilizes data to drive effective decision making for program improvement.
- Maintains on-campus communication lines by calling and presiding over division and discipline area meetings; informing division staff of policy, procedures, and other pertinent information.

Budget and Resource Management
- Prepares and manages the divisional budgets such as federal vocational, grant, or other funds.
- Develops grants to support program initiatives.
- Integrates program resources with the college's mission and educational programs, and provides leadership and education to the college community in these areas in support of instructional goals.
- Oversees annual program review and recommends to the VP needed program revision/enhancement.

Program and Industry Compliance
- Assures timely compliance with all regulatory and accrediting body standards and requirements, including state and federal reporting.
- Tracks student progress and reports statistics to community partners and SBCTC, validating program/student coding for SMS/SMIS.
- Directs new program development and career and technical education program approvals via SBCTC.

Community and Industry Partnerships
- Collaborates with K-12, community college career and technical education and academic faculty and counselors to develop formal articulation agreements and individual education plans.
- Maintains off-campus communication and program responsiveness by responding to program inquiries; oversees professional-technical advisory committees, as appropriate.
- Represents the College at community and educational events.

Instruction and Campus Collaboration
- Recruits, recommend for hire, supervise, motivate, develop and evaluate full-time and part-time faculty.
- Provides leadership with faculty for defining program learning outcomes and regular, systematic assessment of attainment of college's core learning outcomes and program outcomes.
- Reviews course information forms and curriculum guides with faculty, monitor educational quality and make changes and recommendations for improvement.
- Work with faculty to plan and organize workloads and schedules by evaluating student needs in conjunction with College goals.
- Participates in Instructional Council, Dean's Council, and college committees related to the position.
- Collaborates with Worker Retraining division to provide educational programs consistent with regional needs.

Minimum Qualifications:
1. Bachelor degree in a related field.
2. Five years or more of program or administrative experience preferably in higher education, human services, or related fields.
3. Demonstrated leadership in working effectively with diverse groups and promoting a respectful, safe, and inclusive environment for all students, staff, and faculty.
4. Demonstrated knowledge, skills and abilities in promoting and advancing student success.
5. Experience creating and managing multiple budgets, including grant budgets.
6. Organizational, problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
8. Proficient in MS Office software.
9. Experience teaching, working with students, and/or managing professional-technical education programs.
10. Experience in supervising and managing diverse work groups to achieve results.
11. Demonstrated success in working in collaboration and partnership with community groups and organizations.
12. Certified, or eligible to be certified as Washington State Professional-Technical Administrator.

Preferred Qualifications:
1. Master degree in a related field.
2. At least five years of administrative experience in higher education.
3. Advanced Technology skills.
4. Experience working in unionized environments.
5. Experience working with business and industry.

Work Hours: Regular business hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Summer schedule may vary. This position will require flexibility in scheduling to attend events and meetings outside of regular business hours.
