Short Description:
Frostburg State University seeks applications for a full-time, exempt Clinical Site Support/Clinical Laboratory Manager position for our developing Physician Assistant program targeted to admit the first class in Summer 2019. The PA program will be based at the University System of Maryland at Hagerstown facility located at 32 West Washington Street in downtown Hagerstown. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience; University System of Maryland benefits package included.

Description of Ongoing/New Duties:
Provide support for PA program clinical education sites and clinical laboratory activities. Assist the Clinical Coordinator with clinical site development, monitoring, and associated site-specific materials; verify licensure/board certification of all clinical preceptors. Assist in creation of handbooks for preceptors and students. Plan clinical year orientation and rotation matching; use software tools to manage assessments of students on clinical rotations. Support daily operations and use of the program simulation lab, including scenario setups as defined by faculty, ordering supplies, and equipment. Organize and maintain clinical year student records including background checks, verification of drug screens and immunizations. Assist with administrative support and student recruiting. Participate in the accreditation process as assigned by the Program Director. Other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors degree from a regionally accredited institution. Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with a diverse group of individuals. Strong organizational and decision-making skills\proven ability to maintain confidentiality.

Any combination of training and experience substantially equivalent to graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelors degree in a related field and progressively responsible related work experience may be considered.

Preferred Qualifications:
Previous work experience in higher education demonstrating commitment to student success and university and program values. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Experience with Oracle database management system.
