Short Description:
Frostburg State University Athletics Department is seeking a full-time Assistant Football Coach - Offensive Coordinator for the FSU Bobcat football program. Position will be responsible for the preparation, analysis, performance, and success of all aspects of offensive football strategy. This is a 12-month appointment and includes University System of Maryland benefits package.

Frostburg State boasts 21 varsity sports (10 men/11 women), which includes a nationally-prominent football program. The Bobcat football team has posted a 21-3 (.875) record over the past two seasons and emerged as one of the top teams in the nation after spending all of last season ranked in the AFCA and D3football.com Top 25 Polls. Frostburg, which is coming off a trip to the NCAA Quarterfinals, rewrote the record books in 2018 with 11 wins, 17 All-NJAC selections and 468 points scored. The Bobcats also tied a school record with 16 consecutive wins that dated back to the 2016 campaign. Frostburg has won 256 games in program history and made 11 playoff appearances while boasting 37 All-Americans and eight National Football League (NFL) players.

Description of Ongoing/New Duties:
Oversee and assign duties to the offensive coaching staff in consultation with the Head Football Coach, and coach quarterbacks. Recruit, retain, and graduate academically successful student-athletes. Promote the football program through public relations activities, alumni, and friends of football relationships as assigned by the Head Coach. Other related duties as assigned. This position will have a second duty to be determined by the Athletics Director based on the selected individuals qualifications. Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to overall departmental philosophy and collaboration.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors degree. At least 3 years of coaching experience at the high school and/or collegiate level, including experience as a coordinator and quarterbacks coach. Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.

Any combination of training and experience substantially equivalent to graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelors degree in a related field and progressively responsible related work experience may be considered.

Preferred Qualifications:
Proven ability to recruit student-athletes. Playing experience at the collegiate level.
