Adjunct Instructor- Chemistry & Physics

The Chemistry & Physics Department seeks qualified individuals to join our adjunct hiring pool to express their interest in future, part-time teaching assignments at Simmons College.

Typical courses include General, Organic, and Biochemistry for non-science majors, as well as General and Analytical Chemistry for science majors. An assignment will commonly include lab sections only, although there may be availability for both lecture and labs during summer sessions.

Total class contact time will vary from 3 or 4 hours (lab only) to 7 hours (lecture and lab).

Requirements:
  • Master's degree required; Ph.D. preferred.
  • Teaching experience is preferred, at either the college or high school level.
