ADN Program Coordinator (part-time 884 hours/year) Any WITC Campus Location

General Information:
Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College is seeking qualified applicants for the position of ADN Program Coordinator. This position is part-time (884 hours/year) and can be housed at any WITC Campus location.

Position Overview
This position will work in an administrative environment. This person will work in collaboration with the ADN Program Director and the Associate Dean, Nursing. This position will provide districtwide support to the ADN program.

The ADN Program Coordinator reports to the Associate Dean, Nursing.
Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical and campus support to the ADN Program to ensure student success from admission to program completion.
  • Operational Effectiveness
  • Coordinate clinical placements needs and request additional clinical sites as needed.
  • Enter, maintain, and monitor TCCP, CastleBranch and Passport information as needed.
  • Orient and assist students to repository for Background Checks and Health Records.
  • Attend TCCP, CastleBranch and Passport meetings as needed.
  • Follow prioritized and program policies for students reentering the program, including, but not limited to
  • Maintaining list of reentry students
  • Communicate with admission advisors and counselors to update LPN progression students
  • Communicate with students regarding readmission and placements
  • Communicate with counselors on eligibility of returning students after being dismissed
  • Review textbook requirements w/student and communicate to bookstore and Technology Coordinator.
  • Monitor clinical agency feedback forms.
  • Coordinate student transfers between WITC campuses.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements
Exerting up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Sitting most of the time. Walking and standing required only occasionally.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Registered Nurse, minimum of Associated Degree.
  • Current State of Wisconsin RN license.
  • Minimum of 2 years (4,000) occupational experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Strong critical thinking and organizational skills.
  • Exceptional written, oral communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Willingness to learn about new policies and procedures in the constantly changing environment of college and healthcare programming.
