Position Description
Supports the program director by performing administrative duties related to planning, directing and coordinating both the academic and operational activities of the program.
Major/Essential Functions
As the part-time K-12 Program Coordinator for the iOS Design Lab, you will lead the development and delivery of youth-focused programming that inspires students and supports educators. You will collaborate closely with the Lab Director and a bench of subject matter experts to design camps, hackathons, mobile lab experiences, and teacher professional development. You will also serve as a liaison to school districts and educators, ensuring that all programming aligns with curriculum standards and student needs. - Collaborate with the Lab Director to design and deliver K-12-focused programming, including coding camps, hackathons, mobile lab experiences, and teacher professional development.
- Coordinate, develop and deliver teacher professional development workshops that integrate coding, AI, and entrepreneurship into classroom instruction.
- Serve as the primary liaison to school districts, educators, and CTE coordinators to ensure alignment with curriculum and student needs.
- Support the recruitment and onboarding of students and teachers for Lab programs.
- Assist with curriculum development and instructional planning in collaboration with SMEs.
- Represent the Lab at school-based events such as CTE fairs, STEM nights, and educator conferences.
- Track participation, feedback, and outcomes to support continuous improvement and reporting.
Required Qualifications
High school plus six years experience in related field. Additional education may substitute for experience on a year for year basis.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in education or a related field.
- Minimum of three years of teaching or instructional experience.
- Experience working with K-12 students and educators.
- Certified teacher in Career and Technical Education (CTE) or Business Education.
- Experience developing or leading STEM or entrepreneurship programs.
- Experience designing or delivering K-12 instructional programming.
- Master's degree in education, instructional technology, or a related field.
- Experience coordinating school partnerships or district-level initiatives.
- Knowledge of coding, design thinking, or entrepreneurship education.
- Ability to lead engaging workshops and student experiences
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.
- Familiarity with community engagement strategies and school partnerships.
