The University is seeking to appoint a Teaching Fellow to contribute to the delivery of our undergraduate electronic and computer systems programmes both in Wellington, New Zealand and Xiamen, China.

The School of Engineering and Computer Science at Victoria University of Wellington is New Zealand's top ranked research University, and our engineering programme is solely targeted at electronic and computer systems engineering, software engineering and network engineering.

You will have responsibility for teaching in the School's existing introductory undergraduate computer science and engineering courses, contribute to the appropriate reconfiguration of our courses to the needs of the Xiamen University of Technology in China, and may also travel for several periods of time to China to assist in the delivery of these courses.

You will be given a one year fixed-term position and be appointed as a Teaching Fellow. You will be able to build on your past experience in teaching first year computer science and engineering (as it relates to either electronic and computer systems engineering, software engineering or network engineering), and enjoy working alongside colleagues to inspire the next generation of computer scientists and engineers.

You will need to be able to teach in China for approximately half of the duration of the appointment, and must be able to start no later than early April 2018.
