The San Jose - Evergreen Community College District is currently recruiting a Senior Evaluations Specialist. This is a temporary assignment through 10/29/2021 with the possibility of extension. Hourly pay is $26.89. Working hours are Monday – Thursday, 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM, flexible hours may be available. Located at Evergreen Valley College (Admissions and Records), 3095 Yerba Buena Road, San Jose, CA 95135.
Under the direction of the Dean of Enrollment Services, evaluate transcripts from other colleges, review student records and calculate grade point averages, process graduation petitions, and provide specialized information and assistance to students, staff, counselors, administrators, and others regarding course equivalencies, school policies and procedures military credit, test scores and graduation requirements.
The Senior Evaluations Specialist position requires an Associate degree from an accredited institution; three years of experience in a college admissions and records position, and demonstrated sensitivity knowledge and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, gender, cultural, disability, and historically underrepresented groups.
