The Department of Radiology and the Biomedical Research Imaging Center in the University of North Carolina (UNC) at Chapel Hill is jointly recruiting for a tenure-track assistant professor in medical imaging analysis. Outstanding individuals with expertise in medical imaging analysis, with focus on image segmentation, multivariate scalar and tensor analysis, cardiac imaging analysis, or microscope imaging analysis, are particularly desirable. Successful applicant is expected to have excellent qualifications in research. The Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging Research Center (BRIC) at UNC-Chapel Hill currently houses a dedicated 3T MR scanner capable of both human and animal imaging and a 9.4T 30cm horizontal bore MR scanner for small animal imaging. In addition to MR scanners, a small animal PET/CT, a small animal SPECT, and an in vivo optical imaging system are also available to investigators across campuses.
