Strategic Workforce Planning Manager Location: Plano, TXJob Responsibilities and Requirements: The Strategic Workforce Planning Manager is a part of the team responsible for driving the people dimension of HP Enterprise Business's strategy - driving improvements in our large, global and high quality workforce and overall return on our investment in our workforce. This role will lead and participate within HP ES's high-impact Strategic Workforce Planning team where your superior analytic, operational and Communications skills will be challenged to deliver data-driven, insightful recommendations against the business's highest priority opportunities. This involves - Collaborating with executives across the company to develop strategic recommendations to drive improvement and optimization of our human capital Lead the Strategic Workforce Planning process for the business area assigned and create the forecasts in alignment with business strategies and plans Oversee problem structuring, hypotheses development, data collection, provide superior analyses and interpretation/evaluation of strategies which includes presentation preparation for leadership review Deliver data driven insights to support actionable strategic workforce direction Provide detailed analysis supporting workforce Planning deliverables including forecasting, variance reporting, analysis and escalation Management, and dashboard reporting Integrate business strategy impact into overall workforce strategy Apply superior subject matter expertise and thought leadership in internal and external trends to evaluate workforce plans, identify gaps and propose solutions to company executives Contribute to the development of enterprise workforce Planning and global location strategy Analyze external Industry trends, competitive threats, and expansion opportunities to drive workforce strategies and decisions Education and Experience Required: MBA or advanced degree from top school 2 Years Pre- or post-MBA advisory or Consulting experience at a leading strategy Consulting firm or the strategy function within a Fortune 500 company Bachelors Degree in Quantitative field Have led client teams, peers, and analysts through aspects of strategy projects, and owned works-streams in the Production of critical project deliverables Experience in Supply Chain Management or Talent Supply Chain and Operations Experience in the Technology services Industry and strategic workforce Planning is desirable Knowledge and Skills Required: Superior analytical and modeling capabilities including the interpretation of analysis/data to executives Superior business and Financial acumen Superior modeling and presentation skills Superior program Management, process development, leadership, influencing, and Consulting skills Superior Communications (written/verbal), presentation, and facilitation skills Passion for IT Services business and the Talent Supply Chain Ability to make strategic decisions that are forward thinking and congruent with Industry trends.
