SENIOR LECTURESHIP IN FOOD BUSINESS AND DEVELOPMENT

The Department of Food Business & Development undertakes teaching, examining and research in food business (including food economics, management and marketing), co-operative organisation (including agri-food, credit unions and social enterprises) and development (including local, rural and international development).  The Department contributes to research and teaching programmes in the Colleges of Business & Law and Science, Engineering & Food Science.

University College Cork is now seeking to recruit an outstanding Senior Lecturer in Food Business & Development, in order to strengthen and further develop the Department’s research and teaching in the agri-food economy and natural resources focused development field. Applications are invited for the above wholetime permanent post.

The successful candidate will be expected to have: a doctoral qualification in a relevant field, relevant academic experience together with a proven record of internationally recognised research.   S/he shall have strong statistical and quantitative analytical capabilities and a demonstrated excellence in research-led teaching and learning and application in addition to demonstrated capability to provide strategic vision and leadership in the development and delivery of programmes.  

Senior Lectureship Salary Scale [new entrants]: €67,107 - €94,043 per annum
