Description & Requirement PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
UTD is launching a new, exciting Executive MBA in 2013. This one-year intensive program will focus on Global Leadership for International Executives. Marketing and recruitment of the inaugural class will begin spring 2012.
The University of Texas at Dallas was established in 1969 by Cecil Green, J. Erik Jonsson, and Eugene McDermott, the founders of Texas Instruments. The iGLEMBA and GLEMBA programs are part of Executive Education, the School of Management (SOM). The School of Management, the largest of UT Dallas’ seven schools, was established in 1975 and had a fall 2011 enrollment of more than 6,000, more than half of whom were graduate students

iGLEMBA - International Global Leadership Executive Masters in Business Administration
The Participants in this innovative one year intensive program will learn from world-renowned faculty and have the opportunity during the intensive one-year program, to visit different USA cities to gain first-hand knowledge and experience about how USA companies operate and what it means to be a player in the world’s business arena. All participants must have 7 years minimum of managerial/corporate or government experience.

POSITION DESCRIPTION
The School of Management, Executive Education, is seeking a very special person with a marketing and recruitment background. The successful candidate will be part of a highly innovative inaugural program and will share in the excitement by reaching out for global participants. Thus the primary role of the Program Manager will be marketing and recruitment of qualified executives.
The successful candidate for the position will assist in designing a full marketing plan for the program. He or she will work with the graphics and IT departments to design marketing material as well as develop a system to track inquiries and all students. The Program Manager will take several international trips per year to recruit participants. These trips may involve being part of Education Fairs, meeting with and setting up a network of in-country agents (the network that they will set up to assist with the recruiting) and other related activities. Traveling opportunities abound.
The Director of the program, Dr. Bobby Chang, is primarily seeking a person who is bilingual in an Asian language but he is open to other candidates who may be knowledgeable about Europe, Latin American and elsewhere and speak a related language. Cultural sensitivity will be essential and familiarity with what it takes to recruit international executives into an EMBA program is key.
In summary, the Program Manager will plan, develop, and monitor the program; resolve problems; supervise staff; and formulate and recommend goals and objectives.
This Program Manager is responsible for the following tasks:
1. Recruit high caliber candidates for iGLEMBA (international Global Leadership Executive MBA).
2. Marketing functions that include designing program brochure and other promotional materials.
3. Develop a database to store all candidates, students, and alumni data.
4. Work with web master on web site development and contents.
5. Oversee day-to-day operations.
6. Other duties as may be required to successfully fill the position
The candidate must have international recruitment experience and knowledge, preferable bi-lingual. Ideally the person will speak an Asian Language.
A Bachelor’s degree is required with 3-5 years experience in a related field of experience or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
The compensation is open depending the candidate’s background and experience ($50-80K).
