Applications are invited for multiple Principal Investigator (PI) positions at the Center for Bioinformatics in the College of Life Sciences of Peking University in the fields of bioinformatics, computational biology, biostatistics, evolutionary biology, genetics, and systems biology. Applicants are expected to possess an outstanding record in research and a strong interest and ability in teaching.  We are especially interested in candidates with a strong background in statistics and its applications to biology.

Center for Bioinformatics was founded in 1996 as the first bioinformatics center in China and was also the first to offer Ph.D. degrees in bioinformatics.  It is home to a strong computing hardware and software platform and a wet lab.  More information can be found on our web site at http://www.cbi.pku.edu.cn
