Postdoctoral / Senior Researcher Position in Semantic Web Data Management

The position will be involved in the Sindice Structured Web Data project. Sindice (http://sindice.com) contains the world largest semantic web data collection with million of semantically marked up documents (rdf, rdfa, microformats, schema.org, opengraph) collected per day. Now serving a growing community of researchers and practitioners, Sindice is developing killer applications that allow web masters to profit from their markups and motivate participation in the Web of Data in ways that were not previously possible.

The successful candidate should be bound to become a leader in research. In particular, we are looking for candidates with the following skills:
- A Ph.D. in a relevant area of computer science or a closely related area.
- Demonstrated excellence in research in one of the following domain: data integration, software engineering, large-scale distributed information systems, machine learning.
- Knowledge of semantic web technologies and linked open data are assets but not a must.
- Interest in guiding and managing research groups in national and international research projects.
- Creative thinking & proactive working style
- Excellent skills in written and spoken English

The position is full-time. Salary is competitive and depends on qualifications and experience.
