postdoctoral research fellow in molecular neurobiology

Postdoctoral position for an M.D./Ph.D. (no postdoctoral experience) available in the Department of Psychiatry, Harvard Medical School & Laboratory of Molecular & Developmental Neurobiology, McLean Hospital.  Ideal candidate would have doctoral level educational background in the neurosciences and working knowledge of techniques necessary for research projects investigating molecular genetics, molecular signaling mechanisms and epigenetic factors underlying stress, psychiatric disorders and stress-related disorders.  Individual must be skilled in molecular biology, pharmacology, immunology, tissue culture and animal models.  Experience in siRNA and Chip assays would be helpful.  Will train individual who meets partial educational/research requirements.  Position available for up to 3 years with salary commensurate with candidate’s training with respect to job description and consistent with NIH funding levels.  Send CV and 3 letters of reference to Dr. Dona Lee Wong,
