Description & Requirement Postdoctoral Research Position: Development of Electrochemical NMR Characterization Technology for Electrode Materials.
Solid state nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) program at the National High Magnetic Field Laboratory (NHMFL) seeks a Postdoctoral Research Associate to investigate the characterization of electrode materials. This position is open immediately. The successful applicant will work with a multidisciplinary team in the area of solid-state NMR spectroscopy, electrochemistry, electrical engineering, as well as NMR probe engineering. Candidate should have a Ph.D. in Physics, Chemistry, Engineering, or a related field. Excellent lab skills, hands-on experience with testing equipment, and the ability to publish the research results are expected. Experience in solid-state NMR spectroscopy (including experimental design/implementation) and materials application is desired. Experience in solid-state NMR probe design is a plus. Qualified candidate should submit his/her CV and three references who can provide letters of reference.
