Description & Requirement

Quantum computing with superconducting qubits (theory)
    Applications are invited for a postdoctoral position in the group of Prof. Alexander Korotkov at the University of California, Riverside. The research is theoretical, but the research subject is closely related to the experimental activity of Prof. John Martinis group (UCSB) on superconducting phase qubits. Applicants are expected to have previous experience with the theory of Josephson junctions and/or quantum computing. Salary level will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The position starts as early as possible, but not later than in May 2012. The initial appointment will be made for one year, with possible extension for one or two more years.
