Description & Requirement

A postdoctoral position is currently open at the Section of Cardiology and Department of Pharmacology of The University of Illinois at Chicago. This NIH T32 position requires that the sucesfull applicant is a permanent resident of the United States (green card holder or citizen). This position requires that the applicant possess a MD, PhD, MD/PhD or equivalent title, be fluent in basic biochemical and molecular biology laboratory techniques and capable of communicating in English both written and orally. It is desirable that the candidate has previous experience in one of the following areas: Cardiovascular Biochemistry, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, but all CVs will be considered until the suitable candidate is identified. The College of Medicine of The University of Illinois at Chicago possess the state of the art facilties to support vibrant and productive research initiatives.
