Description:         Position: Postdoctoral Fellowship - Novel Dr Drug Delivery Research /
 Nanomaterial Chemist

Organization: Florida Agriculture and Mechanical University
                       College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences
Opening exists for one post-doctoral fellow to join a multidiscplinary group of scientists and graduate students to work in the area of Drug Delivery and nanomaterials. The incumbent would be responsible for development, synthesis and evaluation of polymeric and other novel nanomaterials based drug delivery systems for protein, peptide and small molecule delivery systems for treatment of cancer. The ideal candidate should have a Ph.D. degree (awarded) in the field of pharmacy, polymeric nanomaterials, nanomaterials science, polymer science or synthetic chemistry with emphasis on nanomaterials. Post-Ph.D experience of at least one year at a research institute or a pharmaceutical company or post doc is preferred. The candidates having experience in cell culture assays, development of cancer model and nanotechnology based formulations in cancer area. Our laboratory provides strong support for the development of independent projects leading to a productive career for post-doctoral candidates with successful careers in academia and industry in the US and abroad. The candidate must be highly motivated and capable of working in a team with good interpersonal skill.
Requirements: Candidate having his/her PhD in pharmacy, polymeric nanomaterials,
nanomaterials science, Science, polymer science or synthetic chemistry. Should know about latestechniques in cell culture assay, tumor models, drug delivery, polymeric nanomaterials,
development, and evaluation for anticancer drugs/protein/peptide based Novel drug delivery
systems.
