- Optical-tweezer force spectroscopy on DNA-protein complexes in nanopores
- Biomimetic nucelar pore complexes built from solid-state nanopores
- Bacterial adaptation in nanofabricated landscapes
- Experimental tests of game theory with competing bacteria in fabricated microstructures
- Single-molecule studies of cell division of bacteria confined within nanochannels
- Optical and magnetic tweezer studies of chromatin
- Dynamic liquid-AFM imaging of DNA-protein interactions

We are looking for outstanding experimentalists that are eager to participate in our research. Experience in fields such as biophysics, single-molecule techniques, optical imaging, nanosciences, and molecular or cellular biology, is welcomed. The group aims at research at the highest international level. Candidates that fit into this environment are invited to apply. The postdoctoral positions are for 2-3 years.
