Description & Requirement Dr. Qizhen Li's group is seeking an outstanding and self motivated Visiting Scholar/PhD student to do exciting research in mechanical behavior of light alloys using Molecular dynamics/first principle modeling. The position is available immediately.
Basic requirements: skills/experience in materials modeling, molecular dynamics modeling and first principle modeling. Demonstrated ability to work productively on multiple tasks with minimal supervision. Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
For Visiting Scholar candidates:
Education: A PhD degree in Materials Science and Engineering will be preferred, though other related background will also be considered.
