A postdoctoral position is available immediately in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Wayne State University to study a unique set of enzymes involved in de novo purine biosynthesis in microorganisms. The position requires a Ph.D. in biochemistry, medicinal chemistry or chemical biology. Applicants with experience in enzymology and drug discovery are especially encouraged to apply.  US and permanent residences are preferred.
