Description & Requirement

Postdoctoral position in Materials Science is avalable in the research group of Monica Sorescu at Duquesne University, Pittsburgh.  The NSF-sponsored project will involve synthesis and characterization of magnetic ceramic nanoparticles for catalytic and sensing applications.  Candidates must have expertise in at least one of the following areas: chemical synthesis, magnetic materials, laser ablation, XRD or Mössbauer spectroscopy.  Position can be renewed annually for up to three years.  Interested candidates should send by e-mail a CV and the names of three references to:
