The Universidad de Monterrey (UDEM) invites nominations and applications for the position:

 Full Time Professor of International Economics

Founded in 1969, Universidad de Monterrey (UDEM) is located in San Pedro Garza García, a suburb of Monterrey, México. This community has one of the highest human development index nationwide and the leading income per capita in the country. UDEM offers 35 baccalaureate, 17 master's degrees, 27 medical specialties, and it´s accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS).


Duties & Responsibilities:
•Teaching at undergraduate level.
•Participate in institutional committees and projects for the University and the department.
•Develop research and/or consultancy projects in the field of Economics.
•Advise students.

Basic Qualifications:
•Doctorate Degree in International Economics, Regional Economics or related areas.
•Teaching experience in undergraduate level (2 years required).
•Experience in research and consulting projects.
•Outstanding oral and written communications skills in Spanish and English.

Additional Qualifications:
•Demonstrated ability to communicate to students knowledge and motivate them.
•Ability to generate and manage projects.
•Ability to create professional academic network.
•Must be creative, entrepreneurial, and have a high level of energy and initiative as well as excellent interpersonal skills.
•Commitment with UDEM’s values, principles, purposes and objectives.
