Full Sail University is now accepting applications for the Associate Course Director, Music History position in its Audio Programs.  The Associate Course Director is responsible for assisting the Course Director in handling, preparation and presentation of course material, as well as proper management of course curriculum and instructional staff. This includes but is not limited to; teaching, instructional planning, curriculum and program development, advising students, and participation in campus activities.

Full Sail University offers a unique, hands-on, real word education to over 8,000 students from all over the world. We are located in Winter Park, Florida, just outside Orlando – one of the world’s foremost tourist destinations. In addition to great weather, plentiful beaches, and some of the most famous theme parks on the planet, Orlando features a thriving entertainment community.

Requirements include an innate knowledge of Western music history, including popular, roots and underground music genres. The successful candidate must ensure excellence of personal service to students, maintain office hours for consultation, and communicate with students to settle inquiries relating to the course. The successful candidate should be confident, personable, caring individual with strong communication skills, good time-management abilities, and leadership qualities.

Also required is a Bachelor’s degree- BS/BA/BFA- in a related field, and 4 years of industry/teaching experience. Candidates should be Computer literate, iWork, iLife and Office suite conversant.

This position is full time, on campus and requires a flexible schedule to include several evenings to be available to students.
