For example: job updating, anytime; free resume search, and more. The creation of an account is free and fast.

If you post a job with "quick job post", once submitted, the job is finalized. If you post a job with an account, you can edit, delete, withhold, activate, extend, and highlight your job at anytime, at the "my job list" page.

6. How long does the job stay on TedJob.com?

A base job will be posted for 60 days. However, if necessary, you can extend it for another 30 days.

7. If I select "do not show my contact information," when posting a job, how will the application be sent to me?

If you select "do not show my contact information" when posting a job, you will be requested to provide your e-mail address. This e-mail address will not be shown to the job seekers. An "apply now" button will be shown instead. With this button, job seekers can submit their job applications to TedJob.com. TedJob.com will transfer their applications to the e-mail address you provided.

8. What is "Build My Site" and how do I use it?

This service loads the positions that you posted on TedJob.com to your Website by integrating a simple piece of fully-customizable HTML code. With this function, all your postings and updates on TedJob.com will be reflected on your site, instantly, without any involvement of Web developers. It’s an easy and worry-free way of building a dynamic career section on your Website.

To use this service, all you need to do is login to your account and copy the code provided at the "build my site" page to your Website. If needed, you can customize the appearance by adjusting the stylesheet. Visit the "build my site" page to learn more.

9. What is "Collect Resume" and how do I use it?

This is a free service that allows job seekers to submit a resume to you via TedJob.com. While applicable to all employers, this service is especially useful to faculty members or group leaders. With this service, the faculty members or group leaders can avoid the hassle of receiving and managing hundreds of postdoctoral or research-assistant quest e-mails. In addition, our search tool can help you to quickly find the right person.

To use this service, login to your account and copy the code provided at the "collect resume" page to your Website. When needed, you can visit TedJob.com to search the jobs submitted to you. Visit the "collect resume" page to learn more.

10. What is and how do I create an "Organization Profile"?

This service is used to promote your organization or group, build your brand, and excite job seekers about the possibility of working for you, by publishing a description about you or your organization. With this service, you can upload one logo and one picture. Once posted, the job seeker can search and view your profile, as well as submit a resume to you.

Please login first, then visit "organization profile" page to create your profile.

11. How do I create an employer account, update the account information, and unsubscribe?

You can create an account at the "employer subscription" page. You can update your account information at the "edit my account profile" page. Currently, we do not have an "unsubscribe" function.

12. Why the confirmation code is always not right when registering or posting?

The site use session cookie to store some of the user information. For this, the privacy setting of the browser needs to be set to "medium high" or lower. The default setting of a browser is sufficient for using the site. However, if the privacy setting of your browser was set to high for some reasons, you will need to lower that setting to use the site properly. Please see the image below for acceptable settings.

13. What are sub account and its usage?

One sub account can be created for each account. With sub account, user can login to your account with limited rights. This feature is for account manager to share the account across the entire organization, while not compromise the full control of the account. The sub account does not have the right of modifying account information, manage sub account (add/edit/delete), and add/remove coupon. Other rights including post jobs, manage jobs (update/activate/withdraw/delete), resume search, view order history, and manage organization profile (add/update/delete) can be assigned based on the requirement.
