Description & Requirement Administer a residential life program for a diverse student population approximately 800 studentsincluding:
Coordinate all marketing efforts (tours, recruiting events, web page, and brochures).
Supervise operations manager and part time administrative assistants.
Resolve customer service concerns with students, parents or others as needed.
Hire, train, and supervise RA staff.
Administer policies in resident handbook, serving as primary conduct official. Coordinate sanctions and consequences with Student Life Director as appropriate.
Oversee assessment of progress toward achieving learning outcomes in the residential life program.
Advise a student residential hall council to help support & develop the residential life program.
Collaborate with Counseling & Wellness Center, Student Success Center, Campus Safety, Student Life, Athletic Director and the Center for Global Engagement to foster and support resident academic success and social integration.
Provide crisis management, conflict management, and mediation assistance as needed.
Develop & sustain a positive community environment that fosters student engagement & retention.
Serve on Student Success Council, Students at Risk Team, & other committees as assigned or invited.
Other duties as assigned.
