Description & Requirement The University of Nevada, Reno invites candidates for the position of Data Warehouse Analyst in Computing & Telecommunications, a service unit of the Information Technology division.
The Data Warehouse Analyst participates in the team development, transition and maintenance of the PeopleSoft Enterprise Performance Management (EPM). The position is responsible for managing electronic data interchange (EDI) between various applications and data sources. This includes data extraction to and from third party applications as well as the mapping and uploading of data from various sources to the warehouse, including, but not limited to, PeopleSoft Campus Solutions, AMS Advantage Financial System and the Integral Human Resource System. The Data Analyst oversees data integrity in the DataWarehouse, assuring consistency of data elements for historical reporting trends both pre and post PeopleSoft Campus Solutions implementation as well as the design and maintenance of report oriented data structures. This position provides extensive data warehouse end user support, shares expert knowledge of PeopleSoft data structures and serves as a resource for Computing and Telecommunications staff concerning the data warehouse, data structures and SQL queries.
Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree is required. With a Bachelor’s, four years of relevant work experience in writing queries, database analysis and/or other programming including experience within the last two years with PeopleSoft. This is an Administrative Faculty position. Salary is dependent on experience — $55,000 to $72,546; TIAA/CREF and other retirement options; 24 days vacation annually; generous sick leave; tuition benefits for self and family; no state income tax or FICA.
