Description & Requirement

Scope: The faculty member's primary teaching responsibility will be in ECG analysis, cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation programming, pathophysiology and disease management, and professional certification preparation. The faculty will serve as a mentor and preceptor for clinical exercise physiology experiential experiences. The successful candidate will be able to develop and mentor students in undergraduate research activities, provide student advising, and participate in additional departmental activities as assigned or needed.

Principal Responsibilities: The faculty member's principal responsibility is effective undergraduate instruction and development.

Minimum Qualifications: A Ph.D. in Clinical Exercise Physiology is required, but ABD's will be considered.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a cardiac rehabilitation or clinical setting is preferred. Relevant teaching experience and clinical exercise physiology certifications recommended (RCEP, CES, PAPHS, EPC). The individual must be highly motivated, energized, and committed to the well-being and professional development of our students.
