San José State University Department of Design invites applications for a full-time tenure track Assistant Professor Graphic Design (Interaction & User Experience Design Emphasis). Candidates should demonstrate engagement with theories of how data bases, words, images, motion, and sound work together to define the structure and behavior of interactive systems for more effective communication pieces through user experience.
 
The Graphic Design Program emphasizes problem solving through a solid foundation in typography, visual, analytical, organizational, and communication skills and the study of new information technologies.
